Big wave hunting at Devil's Tear

Big wave hunting at Devil's Tear

On my last day in Bali, we went to Nusa Ceningan and Lembongan. After explore Ceningan, we stopped by Devil's Tear in Lembongan. It was hard to miss because of all the tourist buses and vans. From far away, the waves seem very small. In a matter of seconds, they became monstrous 20-footers when they reached the cliffs. It was entertaining to watch all the selfie-taking tourists get soaked by the water spraying from the crashing wave.

It was hard to decide which photos to include in this post, so I just put them all together in a timelapse video. Unfortunately, I didn't bring a tripod and remote, so this is pretty janky. Like everything else, this place is so much better in real life. By walking along the cliffs you see some really cool areas to take fun photos. I would definitely spend at least 1-2 hours here if you want to try and get the perfect shots. I'll be definitely making my return here with proper equipment.
